Edward A. Friedman, CEO |
|
Ed Friedman founded the Friedman Real Estate
Group, a holding company that specializes in appraising,
consulting, brokerage, property management and development.
Mr. Friedman, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
with a Major in Real Estate from Ohio State University, an MBA
degree from San Francisco State University, a Law degree from
the University of San Francisco and a Master’s degree in
Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Penn State
University.
In addition to his
academic degrees, Mr. Friedman holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM)
designation of the Institute of Real Estate Management, the
Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation
of the Commercial Real Estate Institute, and he is also a
retired member of the Appraisal Institute, MAI and Counselor
of Real Estate.
Mr. Friedman has over thirty-five
years of experience in the real estate business in all types
of property including shopping centers, hotels, mobile home
parks, industrial parks and buildings, apartments, and he is also a
partner in Hospitality Asset Management Co., Inc., a firm
which specializes in hotel development and management..
Ed is an instructor
at Penn State University in the school of Hotel, Restaurant
and Institutional Management, was a former instructor for the
Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and currently serves on
the Assessment Appeals Board of Centre County, Pennsylvania.
As a leader
in the real estate business for many years, Ed and has
established new dimensions in the field. His imagination and
innovations, make ordinary for the Friedman Real Estate Group,
what is unique for others.

Ronald M. Friedman |
|
With
over thirty years of experience in the practice of real estate
law, Ron Friedman is one of the leading practitioners in the
area as well as a noted real estate law author.
Currently, Ron is in private law practice in State College,
and in addition, has been an adjunct professor in Business Law
at Penn State University.
In 1991 he was named
Outstanding Real Estate Instructor for the Penn State System.
He has also served as consultant for the National Association
of Realtors® and he has lectured on risk minimization to both
State and National real estate groups throughout the country.
Ron is also the
author of a number of real estate related books including
Real Estate Law, which was co-authored with Benjamin
Henzey, Pennsylvania Guide to Real Estate License
Examinations, Protecting Your Sales Commission and
the current law school text on Pennsylvania Landlord-Tenant
law entitled Pennsylvania Landlord-Tenant Law and Practice,
which is published by George G. Bissell and Company.

Charlene Friedman, CFO |
|
Charlene A. Friedman is the executive Certified
Property Manager for the management division of Friedman Real Estate
Group. In that capacity, she has primary responsibility for developing
the firm's property management policies, procedures, and the delivery
of its services. She is directly responsible for establishing the
firm's goals and objectives, as well as, the training and supervision
of the firm's property managers and staff.
Mrs. Friedman has been involved in
property management and commercial real estate as a licensee and
broker since 1978. She has served in many capacities in property
management including trust auditor, accounting supervisor, comptroller
and Chief Financial Officer and she has been responsible for the
supervision of over 1500 residential units plus commercial and office
space.
Mrs. Friedman received a BS from Seton Hall University and has done
post graduate study at the University of Oregon and Penn State
University in accounting. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) of the
Institute of Real Estate Management and a Certified Commercial
Investment Member (CCIM) of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute,
an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) of the Real Estate Buyers
Agent Council, a Real Estate Cyberspace Specialist (RECS) of the Real
Estate Cyberspace Society, and she holds the At Home with Diversity:
One America Certification of the National Association of Realtors. She is Past
President of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter 96 of the Institute of
Real Estate Management and was a recipient of the Certified Property
Manager of the Year in 1991. Charlene has previously served on the
Centre County Housing Authority Advisory Commission and is Past
President of the Downtown State College Partnership and Past President
of the Centre County Association of REALTORS®. In January of 2000 she
was honored as the Centre County REALTOR® of the Year. She is also
certified as an instructor for the Pennsylvania Association of
REALTORS®, specializing in Professional Standards. |

Suzanne
Kadingo, Controller
In
1980 Suzanne Kadingo graduated from Penn State University with
a degree in Business Administration. Following her
graduation, she began a career in business including
specialization in the hospitality industry and as a financial
consultant and registered financial advisor. For 16 years Sue
was General Manager of a full service 290 room hotel.
In
addition to her career in the hospitality industry and as a
financial advisor, she has extensive experience in real estate
management and accounting. Currently, Sue is the comptroller
for the Friedman Real Estate Group and is responsible for all
the portfolio’s financial reporting and budgeting.

David Lenze, Chief Operating
Officer - COO
David Lenze is the Chief Operating Officer of the Friedman
Real Estate Group. A graduate of Penn State University where
he received a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering,
he went on to get a Masters of Business Administration degree
from Penn State in 1989. Mr. Lenze has held corporate
positions in construction management, planning, commercial
leasing and currently oversees the entire commercial portfolio
of the Friedman Real Estate Group including all construction.

Christina Taylor, Asset Manager
Christina Taylor is a
former officer of Mellon Bank and has extensive background in
the banking industry and management. She was a licensed
financial representative as well as a real estate licensee.
Because of her experience in relationship management,
Christina is responsible for asset management of the Friedman
Real Estate Group and additionally is the lease administrator
for the Commercial Division.

Mary Werner, Office Manager
Mary Werner has over twenty years’
experience as a legal assistant and is an expert on the
preparation of real estate documents. Ms. Werner
provides assistance in all phases of the business office and
is the coordinator of daily office procedure. In
addition, she is the Administrative Assistant to Ed and
Charlene Friedman.
